Description:

Undergraduate medical education (UME) programs are beginning to develop competency committees based on the clinical competency committee model in graduate medical education. These competency committees review learner progress towards achievement of expected competencies and make decisions regarding learner readiness for advancement. Join us to learn from the educational leaders of UME programs that have been among the frontrunners in implementing competency committees in UME. Speakers will share their successes and challenges and consider the road ahead for competency committees in UME.
