Like the ICE crew, the ALiEM team sincerely feels that it will be useful for all the educators out there, wrestling with the issue of integrating theory into practice. That’s why we have embarked on this journey with them.
For the past two years we have syndicated their ALiEM Faculty Incubator participant’s blogs for pre-publication peer review, and then the ICE community responds by supporting this group with comments and suggestions based on their blog posts. The ALiEM Faculty Incubator mentors and participants then took the community’s suggestions to heart, making amendments and such to their posts and polishing them off to become the book chapters you see before you in this book.
