The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) recently released a document titled: Core Entrustable Professional Activities for Entering Residency.

This was shared with us by Dr. Robert Englander at the AAMC who noted there is already lots of action around beginning to think through curriculum and assessment for these 13 activities designed to describe the “Core” of the MD degree in a practical way. The AAMC also created the Faculty and Learners’ Guide that eliminates the link to the competencies and milestones and just presents the EPA descriptions and expected behaviors with clinical vignettes to describe the pre-entrustable and entrustable learner.

Both documents are available on the AAMC publications site.
