Concussion management crosses many professions and disciplines in healthcare. Sadly, integrated care is the exception. To address this gap, Evidence in Motion has put together an inter-professional online course.
In the words of the course director, @DPT2Go “I believe the dosing of medical education in a 1-2 day course/conference often does not foster the knowledge translation for immediate action into meaningful clinical care. The spaced repetition, blended interactive classroom, asynchronous and synchronous online and in-person learning environments [of this new course], coupled with the powerful combination of patient, provider, and caregiver storytelling truly makes this learning experience unique. The interdisciplinary roles for the concussion patient of today are often confusing. I believe by breaking down scope of practice, specialty, and how each domain of medical practice can help one another so we can mutually care for this patient… will offer a an educational experience not offered by anyone else present day in the way I am packaging this program. I believe that if we’re treating together, we have to learn from one another. “
